I live in Australia, there are 4 other people with the same name as mine.

  2. November 30, 2011 at 12:31

there is someone with the same first/last as me within the state, within a couple years of age. dumbass got publicly cited for underage.
The site says there’s one or fewer? Fail.

It’s based on names from the census bureau. It’s just an approximation. They say as much.

186 — but I’m the only one name after my mothers ob/gyn, I’ll bet.

I came up with 315 people with my last name — not a surprise, since the last time I tried to do some genealogy tracing in the States I came up with half of that as the number of families I found.

The search said there is only one Paul Bucalo in the U.S. That is in fact an error. I know there is at least one other and maybe two. Typical government snafu: terrible at counting heads at the table.

Well people can have their names excluded from census data.

  7. November 30, 2011 at 12:48

True. Maybe my counterparts were Mafia inplants?

fun fact: I was counted in new york even though I was about to graduate from there.

Here’s what came up for my name -

–There are 60,954 people in the U.S. with the first name Bethany.

Five people. Weirdly, I have yet to meet someone I’m not related to with my last name. I think they’re all in the UK or Australia.
