I have 14 of them and my guess is that after editing in total it will run to 10,000 to 15,000 words.
That’s almost enough to compile as a Kindle short story collection. Unfortunately it seems that $0.99 is low as you can go on Kindle. But I’d like to get a bit of practice in on the editing and publishing side of the ebook equation.

And don’t feel bad about .99 cents for that collection, I bet it’ll be great once you compile it! I’m planning on a .99 short story, it’ll be less than 5k for sure! So yours will definitely be fine
