Bizarrely the person making the argument that obese people should be shamed, seems to be under the impression they are not currently.
Of course he also seems to be equating smoking with unhealthy eating which seems quite the stretch.
People generally want to fit in so theoretically changing public opinions could affect people’s behavior but public shaming is more likely to make people double down than change.
