The Publics View On Gun Control

Some inter­est­ing sta­tis­ti­cal break­downs on pub­lic atti­tudes to gun con­trol by race/region/etc.

One thing to notice is that despite the noise the NRA makes they are over­whelm­ingly in the minor­ity in want­ing less regulation.

Also inter­est­ing that there are actu­ally majori­ties in favor of bans on semi-automatic weapons and high capac­ity mag­a­zines (yes I know those are insuf­fi­ciently defined descriptions).

Also over­whelm­ing sup­port for back­ground checks and a national gun sale data­base. Yet we don’t have one…
