Would You Move To A Car­rier That Offered Lower Monthly Rates But No Subsidies?

Ignore the iPhone stuff, that’s a sideshow. The big news here is that one of the major car­ri­ers (the small­est granted) is look­ing at a model where you pay full price for a phone (a painful $600 in many cases) but you get a lower monthly charge and you aren’t locked in for 2 years.

I know there are a lot of Android fanat­ics who would love this because they churn phones every six months. What about the rest of the market?
