It’s come to my atten­tion that the awe­some The Dark Is Ris­ing Sequence of children’s fan­tasy sto­ries is cur­rently 33% off for the Kin­dle edi­tion. You should get a copy now.

The sequence con­sists of Over Sea, Under Stone; The Dark Is Ris­ing; Green­witch; The Grey King; and Sil­ver on the Tree. And I loved them as a kid. Actu­ally I still re-read them sometimes.

A few dashes of arthurian fan­tasy, lots of creepi­ness and just an essen­tially Eng­lish feel. They’re must reads if you  ask me.
