Lord British Turns To Kickstarter For A New RPG

Richard Gar­riot, bet­ter known as Lord British to any­one famil­iar with com­puter RPGs from the 80s and 90s wants to rev­o­lu­tion­ize com­puter RPGs and he’s turn­ing to Kick­starter to do it.

To be hon­est a lot of what he’s talk­ing about doesn’t seem that rev­o­lu­tion­ary to me and it’s mainly an exten­sion of what he was try­ing to do with his Ultima series back in the day.

I agree with a lot of his core ideas, though I’m always dubi­ous about highly open games because there’s a huge risk they could end up totally directionless.
