Yesterday Gandalf handily trounced Sauron with 12 votes to 6. Much more one sided than I expected.To will it be The Dread Pirate Roberts or Cylons who come out victorious?

Another peculiar match up.
While it seems like the Cylons would have most of the advantages here, I find that I can’t count Wesley out. He’s handled R.O.U.S. he’s had years stripped away from him and come back from being mostly dead. The man is pretty much unstoppable.

I was going to say we don’t have enough data to go in, as we’ve got two TV shows and a couple of movies worth of Cylons, versus 1 movie/book with the DPR. But then, that just means we’ve seen that cylons can be defeated and we know their weaknesses. We don’t know the Dread Pirate’s weaknesses — if indeed he has any at all. Plus, he’s beaten my giant, which means he’s exceptionally strong, and he’s also bested my Spaniard, which means he must have studied…

As much as I love the old school Cylons, I just don’t see the Dread Pirate Roberts losing this one. He always finds a way to win when he’s not supposed to.

Dread Pirate Roberts — but only just. Thankfully, the Cylons only know about Bonetti’s Defense, where as DPR will take on via Thibault which cancels out Capa Ferro. (Unless the old school Cylons have studied their Agrippa. Unlikely.)
Cylons have had their metal buts kicked by way less than one man with a rapier. They’ve been beaten by children for cryin out loud. DPR will take it when least expected.
