One of the many ways that Disney likes to part you from your money at Disney World is the character meals. Eating at Disney World is never what you’d call cheap but the character meals are even more expensive.
On the other hand it does get you some time with several Disney characters without having to stand in line which is very nice.
Last year we were staying at the Beach Club resort (which is right between Epcot and Hollywood Studios) and which happens to have Cape May in it.
The buffet is above average for Disney World food though it’s not going to revolutionize your taste buds but the staff and particularly the characters (Goofy, Minnie and Donald) were really friendly and the boys (7 years old at the time) absolutely loved it.
